What is a charcuterie tray you ask?

char•cu•te• rie

/ SHär’ koodәrē

Basically, it is a French term for any preserved meats like salami, prosciutto, sausage, ham, pates etc.  When I put together a tray I try to have 2 to 3 different kinds of meat.  In the one pictured here I also have some hard cheese, fruit spread,  marcona almonds, gherkins, humus, flatbread crackers and bacon wrapped asparagus.
