There could not be an easier dessert to make. Delicious all by itself or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

 

Peach Cobbler

Serves: 4-6
Ingredients
  • ½ stick butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ⅔ cup milk
  • 1 small can of sliced peaches
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Put butter in an 8x8 baking dish and melt in oven while it is preheating
  3. Mix all the other ingredients, except the peaches, together until well blended
  4. Pour the batter into the baking dish with the melted butter
  5. At this point, resist the temptation to stir the butter into the batter
  6. Spoon the peaches evenly over the top, then pour all the remaining juice over the top as well
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown
