There could not be an easier dessert to make. Delicious all by itself or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Peach Cobbler

Serves: 4-6
Ingredients
- ½ stick butter
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ⅔ cup milk
- 1 small can of sliced peaches
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Put butter in an 8x8 baking dish and melt in oven while it is preheating
- Mix all the other ingredients, except the peaches, together until well blended
- Pour the batter into the baking dish with the melted butter
- At this point, resist the temptation to stir the butter into the batter
- Spoon the peaches evenly over the top, then pour all the remaining juice over the top as well
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown
